Ware Jackson secures seven figure settlement in pipeline easement dispute

Ware Jackson partners Knox Nunnally and Wes Jackson, secured a seven-figure settlement for a West Texas landowner against a publicly traded pipeline company in a pipeline easement dispute in Ector County, Texas. Ware Jackson was able to force the pipeline company to mediation after winning an injunction hearing in Ector County that would have shut down the pipeline indefinitely during the lawsuit. Ware Jackson focused on the failure of the pipeline company to follow Texas condemnation procedure before amending the product being transported in the pipeline without gaining the landowner’s approval.
