Tyler D. Henkel
Tyler Henkel obtained a history major, with a religion minor, at Duke University. He then attended law school at Emory University, where he graduated with honors, was a managing editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, earned a Transactional Law Certificate and was awarded the Ernst and Young Achievement Award for Outstanding Achievement in Tax Accounting. Throughout Tyler’s practice, he has utilized his work ethic and his abilities as an advocate for his clients during negotiation and in the court room.
His efforts have achieved success in all stages of litigation, and his practice has focused on representing plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation, construction litigation, personal injury litigation and insurance coverage litigation. Tyler has represented individuals, businesses and insurance companies, and his work has led to success for his clients at the dispositive motion stage, in pre-trial settlements, in trial and in arbitration. He has also represented clients in multidistrict litigation cases, in both the state and federal systems.
Tyler is married and has two sons and two dogs. He enjoys spending time with his family and retreating to Galveston, Texas. He also enjoys spending time outdoors and attending his sons’ sporting events.
