Simone Dawson
Simone focuses her practice on a wide variety of civil litigation and appellate matters. Before joining the team at Ware Jackson in 2023, Simone practiced commercial litigation at a local business law firm where she quickly became the firm’s go-to briefing attorney and gained extensive experience arguing motions, managing discovery, and deposing witnesses.
Simone graduated cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center where she was on the Dean’s Honor Roll and served as the Outreach Editor for the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy. Simone also received the Prudential Life Insurance Scholarship and the Health Law Policy Institute’s Scholarship in Health Law.
Prior to law school, Simone received a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communications from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a minor in Business Administration.
Simone is a native Houstonian and enjoys exploring the Houston food and live music scene. In her free time, Simone loves traveling to her family’s farm with her husband, Thomas, and their chocolate labrador, Moose.
