Ware Jackson is proud to announce that founding partner, Don Jackson, has been named 2023 TEX-ABOTA Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Texas Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates. This recognition is bestowed annually on a practicing lawyer who is an excellent advocate with a distinguished career, superb reputation of high ethics and fair play, and recent outstanding trial results, and who has demonstrated service to ABOTA and exemplification of its ideals. The firm extends its warmest congratulations to Don on this outstanding honor.
Asked about this recognition, Don replied: “I am amazed to receive this incredible honor from an organization that I have believed in and worked with for a quarter century. ABOTA’s mission of defending the Seventh Amendment right to trial by jury in civil cases and promoting civility and professionalism is crucial to the continued existence and vitality of the American system of justice. I will continue to do my best to live up to the ideals that this award represents.”
Don is Ware Jackson’s second TEX-ABOTA Trial Lawyer of the Year. Lee Ware was awarded this honor in 2005.
